Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NotioDocs website and services (the "Service") operated by NotioDocs ("we", "us", or "our"), founded and developed by Jamie. By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
NotioDocs is a software service that connects to your Notion workspace and converts pages, databases, and related content into formatted Word (.docx) and PDF documents using templates you upload or select. Features, limits, and availability may change as we develop the product, particularly during early access.
2. Early Access
If you join during early access, you acknowledge that the Service may be incomplete, change frequently, or experience interruptions. Early access pricing and plan terms are described at checkout and on our pricing section. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your plan.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. Notion Connection & Your Content
To use core features, you connect a Notion account via OAuth. We request only the access needed to deliver the Service, typically on a read-only basis for the workspaces and pages you choose to connect. You retain all rights to your Notion content and templates. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to generate your documents and operate the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you connect or upload.
Notion is a third-party product. Your use of Notion remains subject to Notion's own terms and policies. NotioDocs is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Notion Labs, Inc.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, sales tax / VAT collection where applicable, and related customer billing support. Prices, billing intervals, and plan limits are shown at checkout and on our pricing section. By purchasing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, related systems, or other users' data;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including via scraping or abuse of APIs beyond normal use;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted; or
- upload or process content that infringes others' rights or violates applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your content and custom templates. We (and our licensors) retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, documentation, and any templates we provide. Except for the limited rights needed to use the Service, no licence is granted to you.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated documents will meet every formatting requirement without review.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) will survive.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date on this page and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate (for example by email). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in the UK or EEA may bring claims in their local courts where required by mandatory consumer protection law.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to Jamie (Founder & Developer) at jamie@notiodocs.com, or by post to Suite RA01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU. See also our Contact page.
